Marlow and Brown is not a pet disposal service or large chain crematorium. They treat you and your beloved animal with respect and dignity. They are there for you as if a human family member were to pass away. Our animal companions are so much a part of our family and they deserve to be treated as such. Marlow and Brown pick your companion up at the time of death and the animal is cremated then, not held until a certain quota is met for a representative to come by your vet's office and make a pickup to take a number of deceased animals to the crematorium. Yes, this happens, and I learned in the most painful way when I received a phone call a week and a half after my previous pet's death to confirm my wishes for his cremation. I was so upset I vowed this would never happen to one of my animals again. They deserved better. I deserved better. I vowed any company that conducted business that way would never have my business again and I contacted Marlow and Brown when I found myself in this heartbreaking situation of losing a beloved animal again. Marlow and Brown could not do enough to make sure I was comfortable every step of the way and kept me informed about what was happening. My wonderful companion was back to me as soon as I was strong enough to receive him, which was 48 hours, not three weeks of agonizing of when I would get him back and having to make phone calls only to be told he wasn't ready yet or they'd be dropping off animals at my vet on a certain day and he would be in that group. This time Marlow and Brown met me with my dog and put his remains back into my hands. They truly shepherded me through the entire process with a Christian comfort that meant so very much to me.Anyone who considers their animal as an integral part of the family and doesn't know how life can go on without them will be very pleased with their services. I thank them from the bottom of my heart.

Marlow & Brown understand the feelings of sorrow and loss that comes with your pet’s passing. They were recommended to us by Dr. Platt from the Catawba Animal Hospital. Everything was arranged through Dr. Platt (he is such a wonderful person) and we did not have to deal with anything except of ordering our pet’s urn later on. Marlow and Brown came to our house right before Dr. Platt arrived and gave us all necessary information. They were very professional and compassionate. We were not rushed by any means and were told to take all time we needed while they waited outside. Our dog Zorro has left us with dignity and grace and was returned to our home in less than a week in a beautiful urn which was shipped directly to the Marlow & Brown office in Rock Hill. We will definitely recommend Marlow & Brown to anyone needing their services for their passing pets. Thank you Marlow & Brown for your caring and commitment. Iva & Kevin Willis

On that horrible day when we let our dog Noir cross over to the Rainbow Bridge, we contacted Marlow and Brown. Quickly, and with quiet professionalism, Noir's body was removed. In the days that followed, we were kept up to date and gently guided through the process of selecting an urn for her ashes. On the day she was returned to us, her ashes were placed in the beautiful urn we had selected, again with a sense of reverence and respect. They even had a custom nameplate made to match her urn. We cannot recommend Marlow and Brown highly enough. They went out of their way to give us space to grieve and to honor our love for our beloved dog, Noir. Everything they did was accomplished with complete respect and total professionalism. Jim and Edie Elting Indian Land, SC

I will never be able to thank Marlow & Brown for the compassion and heartfelt understanding that they showed my two children in the loss of their pets Sally and Rex. Sally and Rex were not your average pets. My children had aquired them in the fourth grade from school during a science project. You know the one where they incubate chicken eggs to hatch. Each child picked a chick to bring home. My daughters'was a hen that she named Sally. My son's was a rooster he named Rex. Sally had several batches of chicks through the years. It was a joy for my children to see and watch. I would recommend Marlow & Brown to anyone that ever has to go thorough the loss of a family pet.

I intend for this to be more of an offer of thanks, rather than a testimonial. My German Shepherd, Bailey, was more than a dog. She was a family member, occasional co-worker (when taken to the office) and queen of the cul-de-sac. Her temperment was impeccable and she was my "girl". For 2 nights, i slept on the floor at her side because i was not ready to let her go. However, i knew the moment she let me know it was time and it was the hardest phone call i ever had to make. My fear was not only letting her go, but how to handle her remains after depature. Rea Road Clinic highly recommended your service and i accepted their offer to make the call. After the procedure was done and Bailey left this life's journey, i remember the agonizing feeling of seeing her lay on the floor. How long will she lay there? Who is going to take care of her? Will she be treated with respect? All of these thoughts tormented me on the drive home. Within hours, i received a phone call from your company telling me Bailey had been picked up and my wishes for her cremation had already been set in motion. THE RELIEF !!!! I wanted to send this note of thanks because of the comforting service your company provided me in my time of despair. Not only because of the service, but because i TRULY BELIEVE YOU CARED ABOUT MY DOG !! Thank you, thank you for your quick, respectful and caring service. Had it not been for that comforting phone call and the caring service, i know this ordeal would have been 100 X more painful. i miss "my girl" and she can never be replaced, however, my healing process was honestly easier because i know she was treated with respect. thank you.....

Thank you so much for making Chinook's passing a dignified experience for our family. You treated my pet with care and kindness and treated my husband and I very compassionately in our time of need. We will highly recommend you to our friends at the local dogpark and animal organizations. You truly care about pets and the care they receive after they pass. It is so nice to have understanding caretakers of our "furry" family members. Keep up the good work!

Marlow & Brown handled the cremation of my 15 1/2 year old Siberian Husky Natasha in the most professional and compassionate way imaginable. She passed away in the evening, on a Saturday, and while we knew it was coming soon, it was still unexpected. My first phone call was answered personally, and within a few hours time, Jimmy had traveled from Rock Hill, SC to northeast of Charlotte, NC to pick her up. He arrived in a suit and tie, and was very compassionate and professional - and even shared that he had a husky of his own. He was very compassionate and gave us time to say our "goodbyes" and asssured me that she would be well taken care of. He assisted us in selecting the urn, and getting it shipped to direct to their offices. Today, just 5 days after her passing, Jimmy delivered her back to me - again with the utmost care and compassion, and complete professionalism. While the loss of a pet is an experience you never want to have, Jimmy made the process as easy and painless as possible. I sincerely thank him for the time and compassion he took with Natasha, and highly recommend Marlow & Brown to anyone who loses a beloved pet and wants them honored and treated with dignity and reverence. Thank you for making this transitional period easier to deal with - words cannot begin to express our gratitude.
